Power
The Superintendent Engineer, Electrical based at Udaipur holds the overall responsibility of the department in the district, assisted by Executive Engineer, Division-IV Udaipur and Division-IV Bagafa. The department divisions are further networked in to Electrical sub-divisions at Udaipur, Kakraban, Amarpur, Belonia, Sabroom, Bagafa and Internal Sub-Division at Udaipur . There ia also a Transmission Division at Banduar, Udaipur.
The Power department has realized revenue of Rs. 8 crores, 31 lakhs and 42 thousand over the last financial year. Electrification of 64 MI schemes and 22 PHE Schemes have been executed in the district.
Under 25 point TD schemes, 49016 km and 14 sub-stations have been covered. For electrification under Special area based development projects, the same has been achieved for 47.01 km and 10 sub-stations.
The achievement in electrification for other habitations and intensive electrification are 184.01 km/ 51 sub-stations and 132.52 km/ 6 sub-stations respectively.
Power department
has taken up renovation work over 38.74 km and 5 sub-stations while electrification
is in progress for 2 hamlets.
